Tristan Memorial Baseball Tour 2018

More of London. Shakespeares globe, the clink prison, watching Henry V at the globe. Southwark cathedral and outside Tate modern. Saturday was sweltering at the game. So Sunday was an easy day.

Yankees win!!! It was a great game. Tristan would have loved it. And they had a candy wagon he would have been drooling over. Harry and Meghan even showed up with Invictus game athletes.

A few more sights from around London. River cruise, Tower of London(really neat) Imperial war memorial(fantastic). Lots of walking. But the tube is easy as well.

Hello governor! (Spoken often) Tristan loved British culture. Maybe it was the Harry Potter fascination...wish he were here. Today was a full day. Logged almost 10miles of walking.
Buckingham Palace for changing of the guard, Queens gallery for the Da Vinci exhibit, Hyde park, Princess Diana memorial fountain(loads of kids having a blast, think she would be pleased. My feet were after a cold soak) Royal Albert Hall, war memorials, Albert monument, royal mews, parks and so on.

London bound! Annual Yankee ballgame in honor of our kiddo Tristan. We even have an extra seat in our row after being moved. Small victories.
Missing our sweet pea, grateful to be able to do this.

Last one! Game 30 of 30. Royals vs. Mariners. Safeco has one of the best food selections in MLB. Feels good to be at the home stadium. Great day for baseball. Free goodies like bobble head, hat and a bag. Club seats pretty nice too. Go Mariners! Happy Canada day!

One more to go!! 29 of 30. Mets vs. Rockies. Colors field is nice. Great day for a baseball game. Last game is Seattle. Going to miss the tour. Tristan has been missed at every game and during the entire trip. Now watching a game in the state I was born. Fun.

Game 28 of 30. Rangers vs. Royals. Only 2 more and we will be done. Denver and then Seattle. It is a beautiful night for a game. Royals park is pretty cool and people are friendly. Even got some burnt tips for dinner. The waterfalls and fountains are a nice touch.

Game 27 of 30. Red Sox vs. Twins. Great stadium, but a little cool today. So far a good game. 3 more to go. Debating about the cheese curds...tempting

Update: 2 hrs and counting. Going to be a long night.

Still waiting for game to start. Hour late and the rain JUST started. Could have been through 3 innings by now. At least we have covered seats. Only because the usual seats are sooo flipping expensive. These are just real expensive. 😒 still waiting for them to play a movie while we wait....Ferris?

Game 26 of 30. Dodgers vs. Cubs. Where did the time go? I believe Tristan had been here. He would have liked this stadium. One of the last original stadiums. Humid and 95 degrees. At least the breeze is blowing. I think half of LA flew in for the game. They had their own parade out front. Lol Let’s hope it’s a great game. Met some great people and got some freebies.
