Seeking Part time licensed captain(S) in the Bellingham area for owner training (no charters) on a 2012 Horizon Power cat and go out on 1-7 day excursions until time allowed to satisfy the insurance company. The Vessel will be shipped from Florida sometime around November-December, Captain will need to help off load the vessel from Victoria and deliver her to Squalicum harbor where her permanent moorage will be and base trips from there. Motor Vessel Samsara — a 100ft expedition motor yacht and long-time friend of the Northwest Captains Association — is currently undergoing an extensive refit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Following the refit, Samsara will head south for an exciting winter season cruising the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking a Cook/Stewardess to join our crew. This is a full-time, live-aboard position with a start date as soon as possible.
About Us:Samsara is a private family yacht — we do not charter, and we take pride in maintaining a warm, respectful, and relaxed atmosphere onboard. Everyone on board is treated like part of the family, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience on a private or family-style yacht (not a charter boat)
Comfortable preparing healthy, family-style meals (flexibility to cater to dietary preferences is a plus)
Able to manage light interior duties, provisioning, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
A passion for yachting, travel, and family-oriented service

Just a note about the Starlink outage.

Internal software failure caused global Starlink outage.

Outage lasted 2.5 hours, affecting tens of thousands of users.

Speculation on cause includes software update or cyberattack

Starlink is experiencing a service outage at the moment. They are working on it.

Captain Wanted – QueenShip Pilothouse 70’
Seeking an experienced Captain to helm a QueenShip Pilothouse 70’ for a private round-trip voyage from Port of Everett Marina to the San Juan Islands and Sidney, BC, returning to Everett.
Trip Dates: Departing July 2 or 3, returning July 8 or 9
Route: Port of Everett → San Juan Islands → Sidney, BC → Everett
Requirements:USCG 100 Ton license or equivalent
Experience with 65–75’ motor yachts
Knowledge of PNW waters
Valid passport (for Canada entry)
Familiarity with customs procedures
Responsibilities: Safe vessel operation, trip planning, border crossings, onboard safety

Compensation: Competitive day rate + expenses
