Freestyle season is almost here right after WIAA High School State & Youth State Championships we’re getting right into Freestyle Season.

Last week, my friend Ranee Gigrich passed away. I coached both of her boys at Seattle Wrestling Club for years and Ranee was always involved with the club. Ranee was incredibly kind to our family. She and her boys always particularly looked after little (at the time) Finley. Her youngest son wrestles for Mountlake Terrace HS, and their coach has organized a gofundme to cover Ranee’s funeral expenses. Please consider donating if you can.

Exciting news…..The final details are being worked out for start date:

The Seattle Wrestling Club 🤼 is expected to start late October for the youth Folkstyle season, the start date TBD but timing should be Tue and Thur 6:30-8pm in the upper gym at Nathan Hale High School

Stay tuned for an update on the start date and a flyer to share with your elementary and middle school parent groups and friends to share the fun with.

Great opportunity for those close enough to Shoreline to take advantage and also meet coaches and wrestlers at Shorecrest HS Wrestling🤼

If in Shoreline school district you can use this link to register. If outside district can show up on the 17th and register and pay in person.
