IT’S BACK! Applications are NOW OPEN for e-bike rebates through WE-Bike, Washington’s statewide e-bike rebate program and (mend)bicycles is your one stop shop for voucher use as all the e-bikes we sell qualify for the rebate.
Washingtonians ages 16+ can apply for rebates to help reduce the upfront cost of an e-bike. Apply anytime before March 29th, 2027 on the WE-Bike program application website, which features answers to frequently asked questions about the application. Each month, until April of 2027, recipients will be drawn from the applicant pool. Once you fill out the application, you qualify for each monthly drawing, and you only need to apply once for a year's worth of opportunities!

After a successful pilot run in 2025, WE-Bike is back with more funding, a longer application window and a simpler application process.
These rebates are not first-come, first-served; however, the earlier you apply, the more chances you’ll have to be selected in the monthly drawing. It might not be a race, but everyone loves a good head start! Apply now to get out riding this summer!

The Seattle Bike Swap is the bike community at its best. Neighbors helping neighbors buy and sell a trove of bicycle treasures, new and old. What's for sale? Everything from new bikes and gear, to classics straight from personal collections. (mend) will be there with great selection of bikes and bike-related goods of all types and sizes. It's a good idea to come with cash, but some sellers (including us) may take credit/debit. This is a fun day for scouting out the perfect addition to your collection – or learning about options if you're new to bicycling. This huge sale is one day only, so don't miss out! Tomorrow, Friday, January 30th, our community of cyclists will join in solidarity with those in Minneapolis in a nationwide bike ride to honor Alex Pretti.

Hey, old friends! It’s been a minute (or a few years) since we last posted, but we have been busy wrenching, riding, and focusing on keeping the shop in shape for our community here in Wedgwood. We have expanded our customer base quite a bit in the past year with all the changes in the bike world here in Seattle.

We are so excited to (re)enter the online world of bikes, bringing you pro-tips, spotlights on the latest gear/new bikes, and community updates. Let us know if there are specific things you would like to see here from us in the comments!
