Happy World Judo Day!

01/14/2020

Members, Parents, and Instructors,

Due to the projected additional snow accumulations scheduled to start later today (January 14, 2020) and to ensure that everyone remains safe, the dojo leadership has made the decision to cancel all scheduled practices tonight (Youth/Adult and Advanced/Senior).

We will continue to assess weather conditions tomorrow for possible impacts to Thursday's class schedule and will send an update via email and Facebook. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

We wish you all a warm and safe day,

Calvin Terada

Dojo Members, Parents, and Instructors:

Given that we are back to very cold temperature with ice and snow on the ground, the dojo leadership wanted to send out a reminder note about the dojo's Inclement Weather procedures.

As a procedure, the dojo will follow the school closure with the Seattle School District. If the Seattle School District closes school for any given day due to weather, then the dojo will also be closed. With this decision, we will attempt to notify everyone through this email Google Group and on our page.

If inclement weather makes transportation and traffic difficult to open the dojo or keep the dojo open, we will again use the email Google Group and Facebook to communicate with everyone about any changes in schedules. If getting to and coming from judo practice is going to make for difficult and/or dangerous driving conditions, please consider staying home to remain safe.

Of course, if anyone has questions about dojo closures, please feel free to send an email to the dojo email box at [email protected]

Sincerely,

Calvin
