Maybe that’s because it’s my birth month, maybe because it’s the first really dark month that leaves me feeling more refreshed, maybe it’s the tides of change. I’m already looking forward to the upcoming year, I think it’s gonna be good. Ready to kick some ass in and out of the chair!!

The power of a partial foil and haircut is something else!!

And so is the power of BASEBAAALL. Okay, this is be my last baseball babble of the year (maybe, maybe not), but seriously this sport this season was extra special for me. In the regular season there’s 162 games and I watched most of them, and more than a few I watched a couple of times. To watch the players go through their turbulent journey, from success to let down, to success and let down again, to knowing they’re still working towards their goal of eventually reaching the World Series, it’s actually pretty amazing and a great example of our resilience as humans. I’m thankful that simply enjoying this game has brought me not only surges of extreme joy, but also a bit of heartache, and nostalgia, yet most wonderful of all, camaraderie and new friendships!

Firstly, thank you to this lovely human for encouraging me to stop being a stinker and post some pics on insta!! I appreciate you. And all of you lovely humans I get to see. We all know this world is insane right now and I feel endlessly grateful to have my little space where I leave feeling exponentially better than when I came in. Being able to babble with y’all and feel connected makes what I do feel genuinely “worth it”. Even if it’s “just hair”. Because at the end of the day, it is so much more than that!

Anyways, I have hoards of photos that need to be shared, so I’m going to try to be better with this thing 😅

Whew, friends, this past month has been a lot. Between the election and saying goodbye to my newest furry family member, I needed a serious mental health break - especially from social media. So here I am, slowly climbing out of my sadness pit and trying to rediscover joy in all of the little (and big) things again

A couple of weekends ago, I had the best time at a renegade craft fair with the ever-so-lovely Tonya( ! We met so many incredible makers, and I finally got to check something off my bucket list: an aura photo! The reading was actually so validating, it reflected how well I know myself and how much creativity is flowing into my life right now. (Spoiler alert: some exciting things are brewing behind the scenes! Peek the link in my bio for a little teaser)

Before this turns into a full-blown novel, I just want to say how endlessly grateful I am for those of you who choose to sit in my chair. Whether we’re commiserating, crying, laughing, or yelling (in solidarity, of course!), y’all are the best 💖

A dream in the making!! Introducing - The Sleepy Studio: a Silly Sanctuary. Many of you know that having my own space has been an ambition of mine for years, and it’s finally happening—I am ecstatic!! Last week, I had a silent/soft opening. While it felt insane having only two days to become operational, holy moly, I did it (thanks to my Mom’s help). I can’t wait for y’all to watch how this space transforms. I literally couldn’t do this without those who sit in my chair. Thank you so, so much for trusting me and joining me through life’s many adventures - I’m so excited for what’s next. Now let’s do some awesome hair and be silly together! 🥰💖✨
