Two years already in my silly sanctuary of a hair home feels like a dream
This space was born almost out of necessity and I had no idea just how healing it would truly become. Being able to slow down and really focus on my appointments, the connections I have with those in my chair, being able to enjoy whatever level of whimsy and silliness the day calls for has meant more to me than I can say
These two years have held plenty of learning, ups and downs, growth, and more than a few personal life tribulations. Through all of it though I have been incredibly grateful for every person who has supported me. Those who followed me here, those who have cheered me on, and all the wonderful humans who have found me along the way. 15 years into doing hair (how did this happen?!), this is the first time I’ve felt like I’ve been able to truly cultivate a clientele for me. People I genuinely connect with, who understand what I’m creating here and who have helped make this little hair home feel even more like home
It’s really neat to look through these photos and see the things that have changed, mostly through lovely little additions brought to me by others (little moth guy, crystals, buttons, stickers). I am endlessly grateful for every person who has sat in my chair and so excited for all the future humans who will. Thank you for seeing what I’m cultivating here. It means the world to me
