Thank you to Sustainable West Seattle and its Green Life Festival for providing a platform for connecting with people and directing their attention to the perilous situation of the Southern Resident Killer Whales in the Puget Sound. And thank you to the Backbone Campaign for lending us their giant inflatable orca. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Inspiration from Jumping Buffalo who spoke at several events at this past weekend's Folk Life Festival in Seattle. Many people spoke who had been at Standing Rock, Jumping Buffalo among them.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY – JULY 14TH AND 15TH – WEST SEATTLE SUMMER FEST
This is not a paid opportunity. Volunteer.
We are creating a dance theatre to raise consciousness about the endangered situation of the orcas in the Puget Sound. This is a scored dance.
Performances at the West Seattle Summer Fest, Green Stage, on July 14th and 15th. It is not necessary to do both shows to participate.

There is an audition/initial rehearsal on May 27th at 3:30pm until 5pm at Velocity, Kawasaki studio. Wear loose fitting clothes and bring your calendar, so we can set rehearsals.

The commitment is 3 rehearsals with dancers plus one rehearsal with the actors. The acting commitment is less.
