A little behind-the-scenes reality of being a listing agent on Lopez Island. 😂

The buyer walkthrough was done. My sellers had already moved away. And somewhere along the way, the deer decided the fence was no longer necessary.

So instead of leaving it for my sellers to deal with from afar, I pulled out the old fence stakes, grabbed some T-posts, and got to work.

Is fence repair technically part of my job?

No.

Is taking care of the details, solving problems, and making sure my sellers can breathe a little easier part of how I work?

Absolutely.

Sometimes being a real estate agent means contracts, negotiations and inspections.

Sometimes it means wrestling with a fence while the deer watch from the sidelines.

Just another day at the office. 🦌😂

Preparing for an open here on Lopez Island this weekend and I get to pick flowers from my own garden. We have a rare opportunity to offer an open house at a home near the Village Sat and Sun from 12-2 pm.

Open Houses are not the norm here which is another thing that makes Island real estate unique.
