Work Continues on the White River Transmission Tower Project. Pictured are two foundations with work in Progress, piles driven and pile caps/pedestals in progress. We have two foundations that are complete, the two foundations in progress (pictured) and two foundations left to construct. Currently we have shaved nearly a month off the project schedule with great cooperation with everyone involved. Great job crew!

White River Tower Foundations. The crew is just getting started driving 120' steel piles on the White River in Sumner. A pile cap and pedestal will be poured and eventually new mono poles will be installed to carry the power lines. A total of 6 of these foundations will be installed in what will eventually be a restored flood plain of the White River.

We recently completed a driven pipe pile job in Port Gamble for a future pedestrian bridge. The 12" closed ended piles were driven with a Berminghammer 3505 diesel hammer suspended from our Manitowoc 110 Ton lattice boom crawler crane. The dense soils made installation a bit of a challenge on a couple of the piles but in the end we got them all installed on alignment. Good job crew.

It has been a busy Summer/Fall here at Pile Contractors and we recently finished up a contract for Cowlitz County in Castle Rock. On this project we were the general contractor and not only built a soldier pile retaining wall but also self performed most of associated work including rebuilding the road, drainage and grading. Crew did a great getting this done efficently.

Kirkland CKC Soldier Pile Wall with 6X Lagging Boards. These heavy 6" thick lagging boards required some innovation to more easily place. We built a steel frame that allowed us to set many lagging boards at once greatly increasing productivity.
