American Meteorological Society at UMD

Our students had a great time at AMS 2019, with students presenting both talks and posters, as well as representing our local chapter. We even celebrated the centennial by going to the Grand Canyon!

Congrats new officers and everyone on a great year of AMS! The beautiful weather we had today in College Park was symbolic of our success this year ⚡️☀️🌎

This week the Intramural Coed B Volleyball season ended. AMS team ended with a 2-1 winning regular season!

Tonight at our meeting we got to chat with AccuWeather meteorologists, Becky Elliot and Dave Dombek!

Come to CSS 2nd floor alcove tomorrow between 3-4pm for some baked goods! Every $50 we make, $10 will go toward Relay For Life.

Today Patrick Burke and Allison Santorelli from Weather Prediction Center came to speak with us about their experiences!
