POV: BEST THING AS A TRAINER - Watching my clients hit their goals ….. and maintaining those goals for months and years. hit her goal at least 6 months prior to her ‘after’ pic… Training, for me, is about getting my clients the tools they need for a lifetime of results.
2nd best things as a trainer: Getting to meet and develop friendships with so many amazing people

What does your rest day ‘food’ look like?
Do you eat less? Do you stay away from ‘bad’ food?
My answer - don’t limit beyond what is your normal daily plan outside of excess saturated fats and added sugars.
The reason: A rest day is built in for muscle recovery - your muscles need the protein for building from those small tears you put into it during training & likely you’ll need to build your (complex carbs) glycogen back up if you’ve been in a calorie deficit. You’ll want that glycogen for tomorrow’s workout 😉

How do you cardio? 🏃♀️
Do you feel like you have to ‘bring it’ with each run, jog, swim, cycle?
My answer? NO!
Cardio has important benefits - but unless you’re training for an event or trying to improve your speed - Cardio at a moderate intensity is better for fat burn, and just as effective for cardiovascular health as high intensities workouts are.
The place to push for more intensity (I.e., reps, sets, resistance, tempo, etc.) is with strength training.
I view cardio as a way to spend time with my kids, watch a movie, listen to my favorite music or simply enjoying moving my body - but I don’t believe that it should feel insane, nor should it be something we dread.
Next time you lace up your shoes for cardio will you push to the max or look for your enjoyment?
