The medical form you had signed is good for 1 year from the date of the doctor's signature. Up to two starts are available for each athlete. You cannot go below.
and pay the $25 for one start or $40 for two starts. We have streamlined the registration process so that you announce, stating your starting preference, pay, upload your passport for verification, complete your social media info and upload a photo all in one step. Once complete, you will receive the confirmation email with the athlete briefing details. https://kristofers.wufoo.com/forms/ecac-athlete-registration/
We recommend that for anyone interested in doing two starts, who are not experienced with DNF, we recommend doing one DYNB start and one DYN start. Both can be done in bi fins, DYN allows you to use monofin kick, but can also be completed with regular bi-fin technique. We really hope that you will join us and spread the word to your freediving community. We want to keep our competitive community alive and growing! We will have prizes supplied by Lighthouse. We want participation in the competition and we will be awarding our main large prizes by draw to anyone who receives a white card during the competition (you must be present at the end of the competition to collect the prize if your name is drawn). ECAC is a welcoming, supportive and friendly community of freedivers. We will provide photos and videos after the competition and want to ensure that all images used publicly, tag us and are shared in the spirit of growing and supporting each other in our community. We will have volunteer gifts as well! If you volunteered last time, it would be great to see you as a competitor at this event. We really hope to see you all at the event and please come spread the word! Thanks,
- The ECAC Organizer Team

Medical Forms
Some of you had trouble getting a doctor signature on the Comp Medical Form. AIDA International Medical and Science Committee (http://aida.medical.tilda.ws/) created some forms to help. Take the CONTRAINDICATIONS IN FREEDIVING form with you to your appointment and this will give your physician a clear guideline to sign your form, especially if they do not know much about freediving. At the competition, we will be asking you to complete a short 2 page form to review and hand to the medic. This form can be picked up at the end of your performances. We will use the form in the event of an emergency during the competition. Your signed doctor competition medical form is valid for 1 year from the date of doctor's signature. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C9V0M911vODTRA_sWOaUW5xF86X0N_T1
For our Jan 2026 competition we had a Live Stream. For this it is nice if athletes have a PIP card. We recommend creating your card! https://www.youtube.com/@EmeraldCityApneaChallenge
Peace in Pressure - https://www.peaceinpressure.com/
Please create your peace in pressure card. We will be showing your card during the live stream of our Jan 31 event. "PIP was created to help grow the sport of freediving and support the athletes who make it extraordinary. These cards are more than collectibles — they are a way to share your story, inspire others, and create new opportunities for you to earn directly from your achievements. My goal is that this project not only celebrates your journey but also helps fund your training, competitions, and travel, while bringing more visibility to the sport we all love. - Jerry
