Hey ladies, Katie here. Some news from me as well. This year has been one of the hardest I’ve ever gone through. Unfortunately, I am again unable to make it to NBM this year. But never fear, the event will still go on! As always, just show up and pay for your spot and it’s just do as you please!

With that being said, Jessie Lynn and I are planning a bit of a revamp for next year! Newish destination and ideas! We can’t wait to share what we are cooking up!

As always, we love you and are so thankful for you all for supporting us for 6 YEARS! Can’t wait for next year!!

Hello Ladies,

It is with sadness that I inform you I will be unable to attend this year's campout. Some personal issues have crept up and bit me in the 🫏. But this is where I look for the good. This campout is a beautiful thing! It was designed so that if either Katie or I couldnt be there it could still carry on. Because its owned by the people. I love that about us! I just know this will be a kick ass year and I will have to live with the FOMO😭😭😭 Please post all the pictures!

When a young child couldn’t afford an expensive wheelchair, a high school robotics team stepped in and built one for him. This isn’t just an act of kindness—it’s a commentary on the state of systems that fail to provide for the most basic needs. The fact that a group of students, not professionals, filled this gap says a lot about the broken systems we navigate daily.

The deeper issue here lies in the inequality that forces individuals into impossible situations. Should a child have to rely on the goodwill of strangers to access mobility? Holmes would argue that this speaks volumes about the societal structures in place. When basic needs are relegated to charity, something is deeply flawed with the structure itself.

In this case, the ingenuity of the robotics team shines through, but it also highlights a glaring failure. Why does society allow such disparity, where wealth determines access to the most basic necessities? This isn’t simply about a wheelchair—it’s about a system that requires fixing. 💡👦

Due to some recent questions we've been getting about dates and the fact that it has come to our attention there are other groups looking to hold events in West Virginia, we wanted to reach out. Would you all still be interested in keeping the event in Seneca Rocks, or would you like us to branch out and try to find somewhere else to host? Normally we hold our event in the later part of August...
