The Travel
Flying from Denver to Anchorage was smooth, but taking the Alaska Railroaddown to Seward was the absolute highlight of our transitโoffering jaw-dropping window views for a teenagerโs first time in Alaska.
Historic Anchorage Hotel
Packed with charming 1916 vintage character, a cozy lobby, and a warm staff that made us feel right at home before heading south.
Safari Lodge
Beautiful waterfront rooms built right over the small boat harbor boardwalk. We sat on our private deck watching sea otters and fishing boats.
The Charter Experience
* Stepped aboard the spacious M/V Sea Quest catamaran with Alaska Northern Outfitters.
* Enjoyed a comfortable, fast ride to the prime fishing grounds with a top-notch crew.
* Utilized the unique upper deck for breaks and incredible views without interrupting the lines.
The Catch
* Reeling in hard-fighting King and Silver Salmon.
* Pulling up heavy, rewarding Halibut.
* Landing gorgeous, brightly colored Yelloweye rockfish.
