Our GRIT teams and ambassadors had a great showing in EX2 Adventures Venture Quest race this weekend (Dave Gedney, Sid Billups, and RD Jesse Tubb1st overall; Tim Clinton 3rd overall and 1st male; and Anna Stewart brought in a new racer to the community!)

Andy asked if anyone wanted a hug, and I couldn't pass up that offer. 😍

We love the community and the sport. Keep being adventurous!

30-Hour Adventure Race — Built to challenge even the most seasoned racers, while still being approachable for teams ready to take on their first long-format adventure race.

5-Hour Adventure Race — A family-friendly race packed with adventure… including rappelling! A great option for newer racers, families, or anyone looking for a shorter day with plenty of excitement.

Massanutten Monster 5K — Sunday — This is definitely not your average 5K. Explore the mountain, test your legs and lungs, and find out what you’re capable of. And if you’re fast enough, there’s a $200 prize for the first male and female finisher!

Whether you’re chasing checkpoints for 30 hours, rappelling with the family, or charging up and down the mountain on Sunday, we’ve built a weekend full of adventure.

Hey there loyal GRIT racers- we are taking some time off to adventure ourselves: Nick is racing the European championships and Jesse is off to Iceland with Dash Adventures to help lead a 7 day hike.

We’re so proud of these kids!! Three of them graduated from our adventure racing camp this summer and they brought along a rookie racer to take on the 5hr race all on their own.

They absolute killed it! Great tactics, strategy, and teamwork. This is why we love this sport!

We had a record 21 participants for our AR clinic this weekend. We covered many of the basics and ended with some techniques for navigating the mental side of the sport. Lots of first timers and several veteran racers.
