Why does having a strong core matter? It’s not about having a ripped set of abs to show off in a short t-shirt. Your core is the centre of your powerhouse. It’s made up of 4 major muscles, and we want them all working together.
Most of us are shallow breathers, only filling the top of our lungs and even hunching our shoulders as we do. By breathing correctly, we can get the core muscles working together, adding strength to our core and our body as a whole.
A strong core helps put your pelvis in the correct position, improving your posture, reducing back pain and enabling you to be more active for longer without injury.
