Well, unfortunately another winter storm is upon us today. That means we will most likely be staying busy inside until it’s time to get into the cold and clear the snow!

While you are “hunkered down” inside, consider signing up for the 2026 Baseball & Softball season if you haven’t done so already. Despite mother nature, we are very busy getting ready for the Spring season and are looking forward to getting the players on the field once the snow melts.

Little League Baseball builds lifelong memories and lifelong friendships—and nothing proves that more than four kids from Trumbull who remained close years after winning the 1989 Little League World Series Championship in Williamsport, PA. Ken Martin, Paul Coniglio, Chris Drury, and Cody Lee were members of that remarkable 1989 East Region championship team and have since gone on to become business partners in Colony Grill.

This photo dates back to 1987, when Ken Martin, Chris Drury, and Cody Lee were part of the team that won the Shelton National Little League Littlefellows Tournament at the Sunnyside Complex. It proudly hangs in the Sunnyside clubhouse today and will soon be featured on the wall at Colony Grill’s brand-new Shelton location.

We are thrilled to welcome Colony Grill to Shelton and wish them continued success!

The Shelton LL Winter Baseball and Softball Clinic schedule for Sunday January 25th has been postponed to the impending storm. We hope everyone stays safe!

We have just been informed by the Shelton Board of Education that all activities scheduled for Sunday, January 18th must be cancelled.

As a result, the first week of the baseball and softball clinics at Perry Hill School will not take place as originally scheduled. The clinics will now begin next Sunday, January 25th.
