With Needlefish being a popular lure of late, you can find a variety of sizes from various builders.
Maybe you want to fish a larger profile but don’t have one of the bigger lures. It’s also a way to carry a long profile lure in a typical lure bag!
In this case I doubled the length of my Super Strike Needlefish by tying up a dressed tail on a 5/0 VMC siwash.
I lost a similar lure on a fish at Cutty this Summer and have been meaning to rig up a new one. This tail has a little more flair than the original straight black tail, just to show off 😜
