Thank you to everyone who helped make our 1st Elementary Girls Flag Football League a success this spring! 🏈💚

Was it perfect? Nope! But this was something brand new, and we learned a lot along the way! Most importantly, the girls had fun, learned the game, built confidence, and helped continue growing girls flag football in our community. That’s what it’s all about. 🦅

Huge shoutout to all of our coaches, volunteers, and families for your support throughout the season!

With a 15-2 vote, the Kentucky High School Athletic Association has officially sanctioned Girls Flag Football. The sport will officially begin as a sanctioned KHSAA sport during the 2027-2028 school year and will be played in the spring.
