BCHS Flag Football

🚨 BIG NEWS FOR GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL 🚨

Flag Football is now officially a KHSAA sanctioned sport beginning with the 2027–2028 school year! 🏈

Flag Football will officially move to the SPRING sports season and will follow the same calendar as lacrosse:

📅 Important Dates
• First Official Practice — February 1
• First Games — March 1
• Postseason Begins — May 6
• Championship Week — May 17–19

There will NOT be a flag football season this fall. However, we are currently working with other programs to organize another 5-week developmental league similar to the one we just completed.

Starting this process during the 2026–2027 school year is a huge step for our program. It gives our athletes time to continue developing skills, building chemistry, and preparing for the first official sanctioned season in 2027–2028.

Even more exciting — by next spring we expect to have full access to the new indoor complex, including our own locker room space for Flag Football! 💪

The future is extremely bright for this program, and we are excited to continue building something special together. More information will be shared soon!
