This tournament is open to kids who will be League Age 7 this Spring (entering Machine Pitch) through kids who will be League Age 12 this Spring (entering final year of Majors).

Signups will stay open until all three divisions are full. If you have multiple kids playing, please sign up each kid individually. Once each division fills up, you can get on the wait list by emailing [email protected].

10th ANNUAL THANKSGIVING WEEKEND SOLL TURKEY TOURNAMENT

What: A round-robin tournament open to kids that can’t get enough baseball!! Open to league age 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds. Division breakdown is: League-age 11/12 in upper division, league-age 9/10 in middle division, league-age 7/8 in lower division (going by their league ages for the upcoming Spring season). Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and signups will be closed once we hit the max!! Teams will be assigned and players will be contacted by their manager by Wednesday night, November 23rd.

When: Saturday November 26th and Sunday November 27th. In the event of rain, the tournament will take place the following weekend.

Cost: $60 per player (Cash only, please!!) which covers team shirts and hats, individual medals, fields, umpires, and all necessary equipment. Cash payment due at the fields before their first game when they pick up their uniform. Any leftover proceeds will go to SOLL.

Format: Round-robin Saturday followed by bracket-style elimination format Sunday.

Brief Rules Summary:
• Kid Pitch for older and middle divisions (2 innings per game max); Umpire pitch for younger division.
• Stealing will be allowed in Kid Pitch divisions, no leadoffs.
• All kids bat.
• Infield Rule – all kids must play the infield at least 2 innings per game.

Signups for the 2022 SOLL 10th Annual Turkey Tournament will open at 9:00am on this Monday November 7th. The signup link will be emailed out and posted on the league website and page at 9:00am on Monday. If last year is any indication, it fills up EXTREMELY quickly! So please do not wait!

"This was a typical scene last Saturday in the San Fernando Valley as the signing-up program continues for all eligible Little Leaguers. Graham Wilson, player agent for the vast Sherman Oaks Little League, is seen inking kids for the 1958 season that will get under way in a few weeks."

A huge congratulations is in order for our awesome 11u SOLL All-Stars as they ran the table in the State tournament, beating Scripps Ranch 7-5 on Saturday to become Southern California CHAMPIONS!!!!!

What a run they had, never losing a game throughout the District, Section, and State tournaments! They pitched well, hit well, fielded well, ran the bases well, and most importantly, they represented Sherman Oaks with the utmost of class and good sportsmanship. Well done all around. And thank you to all of the families from our SOLL community who went out there to cheer them on!

Way to go 11's!!!! You've made us proud!!!

Thanks to an impressive 9-run 5th inning, our 11u SOLL All-Stars beat Scripps Ranch LL 10-5 on Thursday night to advance to the State championship game!

That State championship game is tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm at Fountain Valley against the winner of tonight's game between Scripps Ranch and El Segundo.

Come out and support our 11's in their quest for the State title!!!!

Tonight at 6:00pm, our 11u SOLL All-Stars continue their undefeated run in the State tournament as they face Scripps Ranch LL for a chance to advance to Saturday's State championship game. Head out to Fountain Valley Sports Park tonight and show your support if you can!

And a huge congratulations to our 12u SOLL All-Stars, whose highly successful run finally came to end in the State tournament as they lost a nailbiter on Monday night. Most importantly, congratulations to all of those 12's on an awesome SOLL career. And how fitting that the last ball we saw Milo hit was yet another home run. Way to go guys!

Our 11u SOLL All-Stars won big again on Sunday, and they now get their rematch against El Segundo LL, who they faced in the State championship last year. That's Tuesday night at 6:00pm in Fountain Valley.

Our 12u SOLL All-Stars are still alive as well in the State tournament, and they'll face Orcutt National LL tonight at 7:30pm at Harada Park.

Please get out there to support our kids if you can!!

Congrats to our SOLL 12u All-Stars for winning their Section Championship on Tuesday night!!! Next stop for them is the State tournament, where they'll face Eastvale LL on Saturday at 6:00pm at Harada Heritage Park in Eastvale.

Tonight, our SOLL 11u All-Stars play their Section Championship game against Quartz Hill at American Indian Little League at 8:00pm. Good luck to our 11's tonight!!!

Our SOLL 11u and 12u All-Star teams are back at it tonight...

The 12's are facing Sierra Madre tonight at 6:30pm at Crescenta Valley Little League for the Section championship! If they win, they move on to the State tournament. If they don't win tonight, then they get another crack at it tomorrow night at 6:30pm.

The 11's are facing Quartz Hill tonight at 8:00pm at American Indian Little League in the Section semifinal game. If they win, then they move on to the Section championship game on Thursday at 8:00pm.

Congrats to our SOLL 12u All-Stars! They won their first game of the Section tournament over Sierra Madre behind a combined 1-0 shutout by Milo Benattar, Ian Howard, and Gus Young.

Due to the extreme heat expected in Palmdale this weekend, our 11u SOLL All-Stars will now be playing Sunday evening at 5:00pm, still at American Indian Little League in Palmdale.

This weekend, our 11u and 12u SOLL All-Star teams begin their quest to win a Section championship and move on to the State tournament.

The 11's play their first game tomorrow (Saturday July 16) at 12:00pm at American Indian Little League in Palmdale against San Marino National.

The 12's play their first game tomorrow (Saturday July 16) at 9:30am at Crescenta Valley Little League in Montrose against Sierra Madre.

We're proud to report that the 12u SOLL All-Star team beat Encino today 6-0 and brought home another District Championship banner! Next stop for them will be the Section tournament. Congrats 12's!!!

The 10u team lost a heartbreaker 9-8 after leading the entire game, so they'll get another shot at the District Championship tomorrow (Monday July 11) at 5:30pm on the AAA field.

Please come out to SOLL tomorrow, get an icee, and cheer on our 10-year-olds. Let's go for a District sweep!

It's a big day for our Sherman Oaks All-Stars tomorrow (Sunday July 10th) as two more of our teams play for the District Championship.

The 10u SOLL All-Star team faces Encino at 9:30am on the AAA field, and the 12u SOLL All-Star team also faces Encino at 9:00am on the Majors field.

Please come out and show your support tomorrow morning for our SOLL kids! Cheer loud and cheer proud!

CONGRATULATIONS to our SOLL 11u All-Stars, who beat Northridge to win another District 40 Championship!!!

Next Sunday July 10th, our SOLL 12u All-Stars and 10u All-Stars will both be facing Encino in their respective District Championship games. The 12's start at 9:00am, and the 10's start at 9:30am.

Both teams are still in the winners' bracket, so if they win on Sunday, then they're District champs. If they lose, they'll get a second crack at it next Monday evening.

It was another successful weekend for Sherman Oaks in the District 40 All-Star Tournament!

Our 10's brought their bats and won a marathon thriller over Encino, 24-14.
Our 11's beat Northridge 13-6 in a game that was never really in doubt.
Our 12's shut down a Northridge threat in the bottom of the 6th to win 4-2.

Next up:
Saturday July 2nd, our 11's face Northridge in the District 40 championship game at 9:15am.
Sunday July 10th, our 10's and our 12's will be facing opponents to be determined in their respective District 40 championship games.
