Shout out to our advisors!

Repost from @laschools using @RepostRegramApp - Ellen Kelly, a certified athletic trainer at Crenshaw High, saved a coach’s life during a basketball game last year when he suffered a heart attack. Many U.S. high schools do not have an athletic trainer. But Los Angeles Unified is dedicated to expanding their numbers. Those at Los Angeles Unified include: Danny Dongo – Carson; Kirsten Farrell – Venice; Arnold Figueroa – Westchester; Ellen Kelly – Crenshaw; Vicki Lim – Banning; Alejandra Merriman – Dorsey. Celebrate them as they are essential to health care.

Moravian College's Doctor of Athletic Training Program

Chapter advisors and other certified athletic trainers, please consider participating in our research.

DAT faculty Dr. Jennifer Ostrowski and Dr. Ellen Payne are conducting a research study on frequency of use, confidence, and educational satisfaction related to physical and mental emergency care skills. We are asking all athletic trainers with 5+ years of clinical practice experience who are currently practicing full-time (ie, not academic-only or research-only positions) to complete this survey. Temporary furlough due to COVID-19 does not prevent you from being eligible for this survey!
