Because of 10 amazing teams, our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support the tournament...

The 2026 Shwing the Bat Tournament raised $3,700 for the Moats Park Makeover Project! 🎉

Every hot dog purchased, every entry fee, every donation, and every hour volunteered helped make a difference.

What started as an idea to bring our community together has now raised thousands of dollars to continue improving Moats Park for everyone to enjoy.

What a day at Moats Park!

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s tournament such a success—our teams, firefighters, sponsors, volunteers, umpires, concession workers, spectators, and everyone else who pitched in or came out to enjoy the fun. We truly couldn’t do it without this community showing up and swinging big for Moats Park!

🍩🏆 2026 SHWING THE BAT TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS: DRUNKIN DONUTS!

They came. They swung. They glazed the competition. Congratulations to Drunkin Donuts on bringing home this year’s championship!

🚒🔥 BACK-TO-BACK FIRE DEPARTMENT CHAMPIONS: FARMER FLASHPOINT!

Farmer Fire Department defended its crown against Ney- Washington Twp. Fire Dept. and Mutual Aid Mayhem, the combined squad representing the Sherwood Fire and Rescue and Delaware Twp Fire Department.

According to several completely unbiased members of Farmer Fire, this confirms what they’ve known all along: they are basically the greatest softball team ever assembled.

Historians are calling it a dynasty. ESPN still hasn’t returned our calls. 🏆🏆

A huge thank-you to all four fire departments for joining the fun and giving everyone one heck of a Fire Department Challenge!

Most importantly, every game played, chicken sandwich sold, and laugh shared helped support the continued makeover of Moats Park. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made the day competitive, entertaining, and—mostly—friendly. 😂

Congratulations again to Drunkin Donuts and Farmer Flashpoint, and thank you to every team that took the field!

We’ll see everyone back at Moats Park next year for another round of swings, shenanigans, and questionable athletic decisions! 🥎🍺🌳

The bats are swinging and the beers are flowing at Sh’Wing The Bat! 🥎 🍻

It’s only noon and the energy at Moats Park is already off the charts — great weather, great competition, and even better people. Games run ALL DAY, so there’s still plenty of time to swing on by!

Grab a cold one, cheer on your favorite team, and dig into some concessions that are running HOT 🔥 It goes toward the Moats Park makeover, so you can eat, drink, and watch softball all in the name of a good cause. ♥️
