Let me start off by saying you really can sit anywhere you want on the penalty box side of the pond!

I decided I'd sit right up front at the glass this afternoon and get right up in the action, I was not disappointed!

The Bayou State Rougarou put 3 on the board today! Three I tell you! We got a Double Gavin with the first being #91 Gavin "VerNasty" Vernarsky and then 2nd from #11 Gavin Morgan! Then a nice topper from #23 Landon Kay!

#6 Brycen Madison, the semi truck that he is took on Marek Gallenberger within the first minute of today's contest and boy that scrum did NOT last long! With Big Papa Brycen taking the W and setting the tone for the first period!

I feel like it may have been a coincidence, but the boys played better, played harder and played abit more confidently when they were within earshot of my passionate hockey fan antics. Gavin, that icing play was high IQ! You reset the momentum and the puck went down to their end giving your boys a chance to shoot again!

#5 Jordan Welborn was like a animal let out of the cage with those big hits! I LOVE to see that, more physicality is a good thing and I gotta give a honorable mention to #15 Eli Kujawa-Levine, he's hungry! I can see it in his play. Add some wood to the fire son, let's see some more magic!

Unfortunately, I'm stuck at work this evening so I won't be able to make it down the street to Buffalo Wild Wings.

But just know that the crew over here will have the game on the office computer and I'll be clicking my Claw clicker in the parking lot everytime we score 🙌

BIG day for the Mudbugs! They take on the Minnesota Wilderness at the NAHL Showcase, the greatest show on ice as they say.

That's a really tough match up coming from last year, but we believe in our Mudbugs! Lets get some Pucks in deep and show those Yanks how we southerners play Hockey!
