Welcome John Shahrdar to 643 Training!
John brings a strong college baseball background and plenty of experience on the mound.
John played two seasons at Baton Rouge Community College (2022–2023). As a sophomore, he worked a team-high 60 innings, including two complete games and an impressive 8-inning, 1-hit performance in the conference championship game. As a freshman, he struck out 31 batters in just 26 2/3 innings.
In 2024, John continued his career at Northwestern State, appearing in 11 games out of the bullpen during his first Division I season.
John then earned the opportunity to walk on at LSU Baseball for the 2025–2026 season.
We’re excited to have John at 643 and for our athletes to learn from his experience on the mound!

At 643 Training, our coaches are hands-on every step of the way.
We believe the best coaching happens when you’re right there with the athlete—demonstrating, teaching the details, making corrections, and helping them understand the game.
It’s more than just getting reps in. It’s intentional coaching and helping each athlete get better every time they step on the turf.
Over 8 years of work. Countless bullpens. And a relationship that goes far beyond the mound.
Paul has been working with Landon Brewer for more than 8 years—watching him grow, develop, and continue to chase the next level.
Now, Landon is part of the Texas Rangers organization, and the work hasn’t stopped.
There’s something special about being a small part of an athlete’s journey from the early years all the way to professional baseball.
Proud to have both of these guys putting in work at 643 Training.
