CHAMPIONS. 🏆

What a way to close out our 12U tournament season.

The Dawgs went 3-0, outscoring opponents 27-2, and finished the weekend bringing home the Wood Bat Classic Championship.

More than the trophy, we’re proud of the way these boys competed. They played the game the right way—supporting one another, trusting each other, and showing the grit that’s defined this team all season long.

One last 12U season recap is coming later this week, but for now… we’ll celebrate this one.

Today we celebrate the dads.

The ones who coach, the ones who cheer, the ones who throw BP after a long day of work, and the ones who quietly carry more than anyone realizes.

The dads who spend weekends at the ballfield, load coolers before sunrise, drive thousands of miles, and never hesitate to sacrifice their time, energy, and resources for their kids.

Baseball may be played between the lines, but so much of this journey happens because of the men standing beyond them.

To the EDD dads—thank you for every practice, every lesson, every pep talk, every road trip, every late night, and every moment you’ve poured into these boys.

The memories being made today will last a lifetime.

Happy Father’s Day to the men helping raise these boys into strong young men.

Our Cooperstown run has come to an end after an incredibly competitive Game 5. Our Dawgs fell just two runs short against a talented NC Prospects team.

But what a run it was.

They came. They played. They lived the dream.

These boys leave Cooperstown with a winning record of 6-4, but the numbers only tell part of the story. What matters most is the way they showed up for each other every single inning of every single game. The grit. The fight. The resilience. The brotherhood.

As parents and coaches, we could not be more proud.

This week was about so much more than baseball. It was about memories that will last a lifetime and lessons that will shape these boys long after the final out. They grew in ways that won’t show up in a box score—growth we’ll only fully recognize years from now when they’re men.

We came to Dreams Park hoping for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We leave with our cups full.

These boys battled through four games today and earned every bit of it.

The grit. The determination. The teamwork. The heart.

When the games got tough, they got tougher. When adversity showed up, they answered. Every player contributed. Every player competed. Every player fought for the guy standing beside him.

This week has always been about more than wins and losses. It’s about creating memories, building brotherhood, and learning what you’re capable of when you refuse to quit.
