Siouxperman Triathlon

Thanks to all of YOU the Siouxperman Triathlon and Harvest Half Marathon & 10K is able to give back $8,500 to local organizations that strengthen community and wellness.

“Wellness and community have been the purpose of these events since the first Siouxperman in 2007,” said Race Director Jason Moeller. “We have great local support, which makes the Harvest Half and Siouxperman Triathlon possible each year. And we have great participants, who inspire us and make it possible to give back.”

Donations are going to:
$3,000 to Sioux County Trails to help add trails.
$2,000 to Sioux Center Parks, including for two new benches along the rec. trail.

In addition, smaller donations are going to
Dordt Hockey, which assisted in Siouxperman Triathlon setup, operations, and tear down.
Dordt Swimming, which assisted in the Siouxperman swim area.
Sioux Center Police Department , Sioux Center Ambulance, and Sioux County Sheriff's Office, who promote safety and help make wellness activities like these races possible.

From volunteers doing traffic control to the water station to emergency responders to handing out medals and bananas, you are the heart of this event. Thanks especially to the Sioux Center Police Department, Sioux Center Ambulance, Sioux County, Iowa Emergency Management, and Sioux County Sheriff - your presence prioritizes safety for every participant.

Two days until the Siouxperman Triathlon!
Packet pickup tomorrow (Friday), 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the All Seasons Center - Siouxnami Waterpark and Vernon Arena.
Registration and same-day packet pickup opens at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2 at the All Seasons Center.
Pre-race meeting at 7:45 a.m.
Race begins at 8 a.m.
