This last weekend brought the end to the U12 Midwest Storm summer season. Reflecting back from the beginning of the season it is remarkable to see the growth in each of the girls. It has been a pleasure to watch these young athletes form a bond on and off the ice.
It has also been an honor for the “Donut’s Crew” and coaches to choose the players of the game for each of the tournaments. So one last time we have honors presented to two fine young players. Ainsley Reis has shown the most growth and improved performance through the summer season. With that the coaches and crew voted her the “Most improved player”.
Riya Brenner has shown consistent skill and great leadership throughout the summer the coaches selected her has player of the season.
Congratulations to these two ladies on a great season and well deserved recognition. Coaches and parents are proud of all of you and we look forward to seeing you next summer!!
