You need to hear this, Women didn’t just join the skate movement — they built it. 🔥
Today is International Women’s Day 🌍 and this year’s theme says it all: “Give to Gain.”
Women have been giving to the rollerblade world for decades — and it’s time we recognize what we’ve gained.
🟡 On quads — women turned rinks into sanctuaries, streets into runways, and skates into symbols of freedom and power.
⚪ On inlines — Fabiola Da Silva dominated the X Games from 1996 to 2004. Not just in the women’s category — with the men!
🔴 On aggressive skates — the Bladies movement is rewriting what’s possible on four wheels. One of the best things to happen to aggressive skating. Period.
The first female pro-model aggressive skate dropped in the early ‘90s. The market was 90% male. Now? Women are the fastest-growing force in skating, worldwide.
That’s not a trend. That’s momentum built by giving — time, passion, skill, and community.
