⚾🐾 BAT BOYS WANTED — JOIN THE MADDAWGS IN 2027! 🐾⚾

The Northern Lehigh Maddawgs are looking to bring on 2–4 youth Bat Boys to become part of the team for the entire 2027 season!

This isn’t just a chance to watch baseball from the stands — it’s an opportunity to be in the dugout, on the field, traveling with the team, and experiencing a full season as part of the Maddawgs organization! 🔥⚾

🔵 WHAT OUR BAT BOYS WILL DO

Bat Boys will have real game-day responsibilities, including:

⚾ Collecting bats between at-bats
⚾ Retrieving foul balls and game balls
⚾ Helping keep umpires supplied with the proper amount of baseballs
⚾ Assisting players and coaches with dugout and field needs
⚾ Helping keep the game moving smoothly
⚾ Taking on additional game-day responsibilities as assigned by the coaching staff

🏟️ HOME GAMES

For home games at Emerald Playground, we plan to have 2 Bat Boys assigned — one assisting the Northern Lehigh Maddawgs and one assisting the visiting team.

🚌 AWAY GAMES

For away games, 1 Bat Boy will be assigned to travel with the Maddawgs and assist the team throughout the game.

👕 LOOK LIKE PART OF THE TEAM

Those selected for the 2027 Bat Boy Program will be properly sized and outfitted with a Maddawgs uniform so they can represent the organization alongside our players and coaches.

The 2026 season isn’t finished yet — we’ve got a postseason run to make! But once the dust settles on the 2026 playoffs, our attention will turn toward building the 2027 Northern Lehigh Maddawgs.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: These dates and times are currently tentative and subject to change. Emerald Playground also hosts youth baseball and Connie Mack programs. Should their postseason schedules extend into this weekend, we may need to adjust our tryout times and/or dates. Any changes will be announced as soon as possible.

For now — SAVE THE DATES!

Players planning to try out should expect to attend BOTH DAYS and remain for the full duration of each session. This will give our coaching staff the opportunity to properly evaluate players in multiple areas, including hitting, fielding, pitching, speed, athleticism, baseball IQ, and overall fit with the team.

The Bracket is set! The 8th team has been decided after the Kings took the much needed win today over the Lehigh Valley Indians! The Kings started off strong putting 2 runs up on the board in the bottom of the first inning. However the Indians answered back in the top of the 3rd after going ahead 5-2. Kings didn't let them hold onto that lead for long as they grabbed it back in the 5th going up 10-5 and only allowing the indians to score 1 more run through out the rest of the game. The Kings advance on after their 10-6 win. The Indians season comes to an end. The Kings will now face off next week against the #1 Seed, The Lehigh Valley Moondogs! Good luck to all teams next week!

⚾🔥 THE POSTSEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🔥⚾

We are officially just DAYS AWAY from the 2026 MABL POSTSEASON, and for the first time in team history, the Northern Lehigh Maddawgs are PLAYOFF BOUND! 🐶💙⚾

The road begins with a BEST-OF-3 SERIES against Northampton — and if the regular season showed us anything, this matchup could be a good one!

⚔️ MADDAWGS vs. NORTHAMPTON ⚔️

These two teams split their regular-season meetings:

🔥 June: Maddawgs defeated Northampton, 8-4
🔥 August: Northampton answered back, defeating the Maddawgs, 12-0

Now the regular season means NOTHING.

It's postseason baseball.

A fresh start. A best-of-three series. And a chance to keep the season alive and advance to the next round! 🏆
