Today was the 6th annual youth hunt. What a great day! The success didn't come from having deer harvest. It was the time spent with such great people. Would like to say BIG Thank You to all that helped make this come together. To all that helped cook, prep, organize and bring opportunities for these youth! Thank you to all the Texas Game Wardens that took time from their day to guide and teach this next generation of outdoors. Truly blessed to have had all these folks here at the ranch today! God is good!

What an amazing day! Congratulations on your first deer! Spot and stalk on several different muley while we covered lots of rough country. Stalked this buck this morning until he bedded in some trees. Came back for evening hunt. Got her right back on the buck of her choice. He made us work the ridge line. We played the waiting game. The canyon draw was full of extra eyes of lots of doe. Our patience paid off for that prefect timing to hear the "thump."
