Mission accomplished. Took us about 2 hours to track someone down to point us in the right direction but the universe provided. Glad we could make this happen for Shannon. Sedan to Coffeyville Kansas. Today Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas.

The road has been a cool place the last few weeks. We’ve met plenty of awesome people who were interested in what we were up to. They see our plates from Louisiana and say “man you are a long way from home”. Then we get to share the story of our adventure from the Atlantic to the Pacific and back. Some nights we meet true OGs. Hard men who have done hard things most only see in movies. Last night we met Rob. A US Army 5th Special Forces and MAC SOG V Vietnam veteran, Purple Heart awardee and retired Firefighter from Illinois. He was on his way to Colorado Springs for the annual IAFF memorial then headed to Texas before going home to get a knee replacement. He had an ankle replacement in March. In December he’s riding to NOLA in December for a cruise. He’s got 150k+ miles on his 2019 Harley- all riding around the country supporting veterans and first responder motorcycle related causes. He’s the real deal and we were blessed with a half hour of his time last night sharing stories of our riding adventures. This is just one of the awesome things we have experienced on this trip. Get out there and live your adventure, whatever it is- GET AFTER IT!

Kansas. Flat farmland and wind. But not a bad day at all. Made it to Hays. Pretty much slap dab in the middle of CONUS (Continental United States for all you non-military people). BBQ for dinner because we’re in Kansas. Headed to Coffeyville tomorrow by way of Sedan for a special mission for Shannon Corrales more on that in tomorrows post. Not much to see but 2 videos in the comments.

Spanish Fork, Utah to Grand Junction Colorado. Broke 5K miles yesterday. Today was day 22. About 7-8 days left. Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee and the Natchez Trace Parkway between now and then. Videos in comments.

Woke up in Meridian Idaho to a hotel parking lot full of Harley’s 😏. Rode through southeast Idaho across the Duck Valley Indian Reservation and into Northeast Nevada. The reservation and Duck Valley was stunningly beautiful. 2nd favorite scenery of the trip. Saw a cow in the road and said hi. Utah tomorrow. Videos in the comments.

Everett to Kennewick Washington. Into Oregon and stop overnight outside of Boise tomorrow. Rode past Mount Renier. Snow covered and an active volcano. Wild stuff. It was 57 degrees and heavily cloudy on the North Pacific coast when we left this morning. Riding through the Cascade Mountains it was cold. Like mid 50s feeling. Once we busted through the mountains and got east it was sun and heat. Ended the day at about 92 degrees. Videos in the comments

What do you do after riding motorcycles 4100 miles across the country in 16 days just cause? Go train Jiu Jitsu with a dude who rowed from the Pacific west coast to Maui Hawaii just because he could. NoGi last night. Day off today and trained Gi tonight. X guard sweeps. Tools in the toolbox. Electric North Jiu Jitsu
