Here is the edited feature race from Outagamie Speedway by Klink Equipment & Holtger Bros. Inc speedway this past weekend. It was pretty wild and we have plenty of room for improvement. The dirt was pretty shiny last Saturday 😆

Another night on the dirt with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series at Outagamie Speedway by Klink Equipment & Holtger Bros. Inc ! 🏁

This was easily one of the most challenging track surfaces we’ve raced on all year. Lincoln normally likes a slick racetrack, but slick plus deep ruts made for a whole different animal.

The heat race went well and Lincoln was able to bring home the win, but even then he never looked quite as comfortable as he has at some of the other dirt tracks we’ve been to this season.

For the feature, we started on the pole and gave it everything we had. A few bumps early cost us a couple spots, and with the track being as tricky as it was, it was tough to get them back. We ended up finishing P4.

Not every night is clean, easy, or exactly what you hoped for — but nights like this make you better. We learned a ton, kept digging, and I’m proud of how Lincoln and the team handled the challenge.

Cain Motorsports is headed to Outagamie Speedway to mix it up with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series !

We’re excited to get back on the dirt with a strong field of Legends and a little extra motivation on the line. Huge shoutout to Seubert Calf Ranches for throwing extra money into the purse and helping make this race even bigger for the drivers. Support like that is what keeps short-track racing alive and exciting.

Lincoln and the #5 will be ready to roll at 5:30 PM. New track, big competition, and another chance to go have some fun sliding a Legend car around in the dirt.

A year ago I would’ve NEVER let Lincoln get a race car this freaking dirty. 😂

Now apparently this is considered a successful practice session. 🤦‍♂️

I’m starting to understand the dirt racing trade-off…

Spend less time obsessing over setup. ✅
Spend every minute you saved cleaning dirt out of places you didn’t even know existed. 😂

Watching dirt fly over the fenders is pretty damn cool though. 😆

Here is the edited feature from 141 Speedway this past Saturday Night! We brought it home in 4th place. But geez we really needed this car to free up. Super tight could not get the darn thing to turn very well.

What a great night with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series at a new track for us! 🏁

We made the trip to 141 Speedway, and wow — what a beautiful facility and an awesome place to race a Legend car. With 29 cars in the field, there was no shortage of competition.

The car showed speed right away in hot laps. In the heat race, Lincoln had a fast car, but it was definitely on the loose side. We tried to make an adjustment for the feature based on where we thought the track was headed, but unfortunately, we went a little too far. The car ended up too tight and just would not turn the way Lincoln needed it to.

Still, we came away with a solid night against a strong field:

Qualifying: P3
Heat: P1
Feature: P4

Not the feature result we were hoping for, but we learned a lot, had a blast, and got to race at an incredible track with a great series.
