Happy Thanksgiving š
š¦What are you grateful for this year?

Itās been a busy 2025 and Iām so grateful! Now booking for next year⦠limited spaces available. š¤
As Iām figuring out splitting my time between my regular bodywork business and my new rehabilitation business Iām finding that to ensure quality work for each horse Iām needing to rein in the amount of horses I work on.š¤
Starting in 2026 I will no longer be offering my āsponsored barn ratesā and hope to focus more on consulting and rehab. I want to respect and nurture my relationships (both horse and human) in this equine community here in the greater Sacramento area.š¤
Please reach out to let me know your needs/wants in the coming year so I can facilitate appropriate time/space for each horse. My fellow bodyworkers and are available to step in to take on any clients/barns who need more visits/attention.š¤
I will be continuing my education also in 2026 and canāt wait to hone in on new techniques. Thank you for all of your support and letās get cozy for winter, shall we? š¤
Love always,
Hilary

š“ Iām so appreciate for all of my clients. Iām hoping to focus more on my rehab horses in the future as well as clinics. But Iām so in love with my job and the many, many clients who stay focused on horse welfare and good horse management.š“
I am grateful for the overwhelming support in both my professional and personal life- which shows the character of so many people in this small community which is the Sacramento area sport horse world.ā¤ļø
Please always feel free to reach out, ask questions and get curious about bodywork and physiotherapy.

Good luck to my clients riders number 61 and 62⦠one Arab and one mustang!! Woohoo!
The Tevis Cup 100 mile ride starts in Truckee ca at 5:15am and ends in Auburn 24 hours later.
The ride is referenced as the hardest endurance event in the world.
I was lucky enough to have two amazing horses in my life who helped me cross the finish line.
There is a 50% completion rate on this ride. This means only half of the competitors will even make it to the finish.
The ride in many ways is controversial because of its difficulty and unfortunate horse fatalities.
You do have to qualify for the Tevis Cup, however you do not have to qualify on the same horse you ride. Many people travel from all over the world to ācatch rideā.
The Tevis cup is 100 grueling miles with mandatory vet exams throughout. If your horse is āfit to continueā you keep goingā¦
Iām very glad I got to be apart of this ride before kids and before my accident.
Good luck and safe travels across mountains, rocks, meadows and roads. In the scorching heat and by the light of the moon. Crossing the America river following glow sticks and scarfing down food whenever possible.
Bless these amazing equine athletes who give their everything so that we can achieve a human goal. Itās really quite special.

Hands are a powerful tool. Learn to use them kindly, wisely, in a forgiving space. Energy moves through the hands, gently connecting to tissue, nerves, blood and organs. Itās not magic- itās science.š“
Anyone can learn to utilize their āfeelā⦠this is one of the hardest things to teach a rider and the same is true for bodywork. Getting those āten thousand hoursā to be a master at it seems like a difficult task- but horses are very good teachers, guides, and mirrors.š“
Iām so happy I decided to take on this challenge 7 years ago! I chose to first study Cranio Sacral Therapy (Cranial) because sheās I was drawn to its simplicity. Little did I know, itās a very intricate and complicated modality. However, the horses love it and from what I can tell- need it- to preform as their most optimum selves.š“
We tend to lose ourselves in the bustle of work, shows, scheduling, perfection- but horses donāt do this. So we must catch up to them in knowledge and patience. And try to do better for their sake.š“
I hope the next 7 years of bodywork and horsey snuggles are as successful as the first 7. Iām very grateful to all of my clients who believe in me, work with me, try to listen, try to understand and who have an open heart. Itās quite beautiful š
Thank you,
Hilary
