Cable shows go by a lottery. My new day and time is Tuesday at 9:30 on cable 115 beginning October 1st.

It is with a broken heart I report that Grand Master Angi Uezu has passed. For over fifty years he has been a father, sensei and inspiration to me. Uezu-sensei has left a legacy of what true Isshinryu and a Bushido heart really is. We in the Isshinryu community owe him a debt of gratitude. Please, all dojo, do meditation for Uezu-sensei and keep him and his family in your prayers.
Domo arigato gozaimash*ta Uezu-sensei. Thoughts, prayers and peace.

The last time I taught a class was January 8th. The next day I had major back surgery. Last night August 28th was the first time since the 8th that I was able to go to the Dojo. I was so happy to see the students and be there to promote an orange belt. I brought Buddy our new rescue dog. I had no idea he would consider the students a threat, so the first half of class included growling and barking.. not from me just the dog. He eventually he calmed down and turned back to the happy dog he usually is.

Finally I can post a new calendar. Hope everyone is doing well. Back to school for many so study hard.

Congratulations Joseph on achieving his shodan tonight. Hard work pays off. Nice job!
