I would like to encourage everyone to spend time discussing the dangers of illegal drug use and the illegal use of prescription drugs. Children in our area are celebrating Red Ribbon Week at school where they discuss the dangers of drugs and alcohol. When talking to your children remember to include the mis-use of prescriptions that are often kept at home. Children have access to so much information on the internet and may not see the dangers prescription drugs. With the inclusion of fentanyl in many street drugs, death rates are soaring. Start the conversation NOW so that it continues later on.

If you haven't already.....talk to your kids, teens and young adults about drugs. The rapid rate of heroine and synthetic ma*****na increase are astounding. It's right here in the safe 'burbs.... And it's hurting and killing our kids.
