Saturday’s game was not about winning or losing. It was about these kids who are so close to our hearts. 💛🎗️

It was about honoring the brave children who are still fighting, remembering the battles they have already faced, and celebrating those who have overcome so much.

For a few hours, football and cheer became more than a game. It became a way for our community to come together, show love and support, and remind these amazing kids and their families that they are never alone.

Some battles are bigger than football. Some victories mean more than a scoreboard.

Saturday was about THEM. 💛🎗️

Tomorrow Saturday, we, the Somerset Lil Bulldogs, will come together for our Childhood Cancer Awareness Game in honor of our very own athlete Uriah Lugo #36. 💛🎗️💙

This special day is about more than football and cheer. We are coming together as ONE TEAM, ONE FAMILY to show Uriah and his family just how much love, support, and prayers surround them.

As the Poteet Jr. Aggies and Somerset Lil Bulldogs come together, we remind everyone that childhood cancer affects families and communities everywhere. Saturday Sept 19th, we wear gold, we stand united, and we show our support for every child and family facing this journey.

Tonight, the Somerset Lil Bulldogs family comes together for a very special Childhood Cancer Awareness First Home Game Pep Rally.

We dedicate tonight’s Pep Rally and our first home game to all the brave children who are fighting cancer, those who have overcome it, and the families standing beside them every step of the way.

A very special dedication goes to our very own SLB football player, #36 “THE BEAST” URIAH LUGO!

Let’s fill the field with Bulldog spirit and show Uriah and every child fighting cancer that they are surrounded by love, strength, and support.
