Somerton School District #11 Folkloric Dance Team

During the summer, we proudly launched our very first Summer Dance Academy, welcoming nearly 60 students in grades 3 through 7.

This inaugural program provided an enriching opportunity for students across the Somerton School District to explore the diverse cultures, traditions, and folkloric dances of the different regions of Mexico.

Through dance, music, and cultural education, participants developed a deeper appreciation for Mexico’s rich heritage while building confidence, teamwork, and artistic expression.✨🇲🇽
