What a wonderful event celebrating Social Workers month. Thank you, Ascend hospice and Care One at Lowell for sponsoring the event. It was a lovely luncheon and opportunity to network. Finished with my important CEU presentation, “Supporting the Supporter: Recognizing and Preventing Burnout for Sustainable Caregiving.” Participants also received an accompanying workbook that I created for self reflection and adopting tools and techniques to combat caregiver stress and burnout.

Our first Alzheimer’s & Dementia Education session was a true success. 🤍

This more intimate gathering created space for open conversation—free-flowing questions, shared experiences, and practical guidance on navigating this journey alongside our loved ones. Education like this matters, especially as we age, and it plays a critical role in senior living by empowering families with knowledge, confidence, and support.

A huge shout-out to Ascend Hospice and Melissa Plourde, LSW for hosting and partnering with us. We’re excited to see continued community involvement and to keep these important conversations going—because education is care.

Had a great time at my first Cape Cod Senior Resource Group networking meeting at Elder Services in Dennis. Great to see Sandy and Michelle along with meeting so many new people… and I look forward to connecting with so many more!
