We had a fantastic turnout for our Spring 2026 Young Eagles Flights this past Saturday!

A huge thank you to our volunteer pilots, ground crew, chapter members, and families who helped make the day a success. Watching young people experience the excitement of aviation and take to the skies for the first time is what the Young Eagles program is all about.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event. We look forward to inspiring the next generation of aviators for years to come! ✈️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our 2026 Spring Pancake Breakfast yesterday! We had an amazing turnout and truly appreciate all the support from our community.

What a wonderful breakfast today! We appreciate each and everyone who came out. Unfortunately we weren’t able to fly Young Eagles because of the winds, but will make it up to you. We will offer free airplane rides on May 30th from 8:00 am-noon. Join us in the Fleming Field terminal building to sign up.

The little boy who dreamed of becoming a pilot went on to serve in Vietnam - Ray Wilson’s story captivated EAA Chapter 1229 tonight. Thank you, Ray, for sharing your time and experiences with us. Truly honored.
