Competition Anyone?
So I had a Amateur match play event scheduled for the end of this month... But not going to run it then b/c CV19. Instead...
I've come up with an alternate schedule so we can enjoy some safe and fun competition now; while still social distancing. This is match play, if you don't know what that means, read up. It's really fun and takes more strategy than stroke play.
Each match is only 2 players. Matches will happen here at Rocky Ridge one at a time throughout each week. There are only 16 spots. Some are already taken. Will start weekly matches when all 16 spots are filled! So let's go, sign up!
How's it safe?
* Only 2 people play.
* Each player will be given their own hand sanitizer to use through round.
* Each player will check temp prior to round (I'll do it here).
* Baskets are all Sanitized daily.
* Each Putt cleared when made.
* 6 feet apart.
* No kissing.
First week – 8 seperate matches take place (16 players) random pairs are generated. You decide when you want to play match & schedule time @ RRDG. Scoring is done in udisc. 18 holes.
Second week – 4 matches take place (8 players) winners of week one matches are random paired and schedule their match @ RRDG sometime during week. 27 holes.
Third week – 2 matches take place (4 players) winners of week 2 are randomly paired, schedule round at RRDG during week. 27 holes.
Fourth week – Final match takes place (2 players) Schedule time for match between week 3 winners. 27 holes.
This is not a pdga event. Players pack to all. $45. Hand sanatizer to all. Toilet paper to winner. Winner goes to state final this summer. 27 holes = 18 normal + final 9.

* RRDG is not a business and not a park.
* It's status is not defined by Governor Inslee.
* It's my house, my property.
* I allow small groups of my friends to play the course, with permission.
* It's free.
* I use scheduled tee times to manage who is here and when.
* There are no events being held here during "stay home, stay healthy".
* Baskets are sanitized each day, because I care.
* We are medical professionals and will make decisions about accessibility as we see appropriate.
If you want to stretch your legs and arms outdoors, as highly recommended by health care professionals, then you can do so- away from crowds & strangers.
Logical CV19 precautions I'm asking you to follow as of April 1st:
1) Asking you only play with people you currently work or live together with.
2) Keep away from any other groups.
3) Do not leave your home if you are feeling sick or have a fever.
