1. Builds confidence through learning and application.
Each time we learn something, we have a chance to try it live with the other person resisting. Once they find they can achieve their goal, they realize they can do anything!
2. Enables good friendships
Before and after class, it’s common to see our students talking with each other and conspiring to set up play dates with each other. Several students came to Jiu Jitsu to make friends and have so many sweet friendships.
3. Creates a fun learning environment for self defense.
Each lesson in sport Jiu Jitsu we teach our kids can be applied to real-world self defense situations. You can’t protect your kid all the time (as much as we wish that were true) but you CAN give them the gift of self-defense — without them even realizing.
4. It’s just plain FUN! 🤩
There really is no better place to be than the Jiu Jitsu mats. Where else do you get to wrestle your best friends?

Jiu Jitsu is hard, and quitting is easy, but is quitting rewarding? No! The only path forward is: to keep going.
When you keep going, you’ll see results — a successful double leg, a better guard retention, or maybe even better escapes. But, you don’t get the results unless you keep going.
