This is what I refer to as an introduced puppy. Bird introduction at 12 weeks followed by gunfire a few weeks later. Turning six months tomorrow, he now has had numerous bird contacts with out any pressure. He goes with me and aggressively hunts through the cover.
His next phase of training will be introductory obedience that will be done off of birds. Bird contacts will continue without any pressure to allow him to build his confidence and trust his nose. I have no doubt this pup will become a very nice dog.
