Only four in the 7pm class tonight, but those "hard core four" crushed it, burning nearly 2,000 calories among them. Great job, ladies, powering through the footwork round and my soon-to-be famous (infamous?) Thor circuit!

If you ever wondered how footwork can be so challenging on your core, or what a Thor circuit is, only one way to find out...show up next Wednesday at 7pm and I will be more than happy to guide you through!

Looking for something to keep you cool this summer? Try this refreshing Berry Buttermilk Ice from the Farrell's Cookbook:

1/2 cup sugar substitute
1/2 cup water
1 1/4 cups raspberries, cut up
1/2 cup buttermilk

In a large bowl, combine sugar substitute and water.
In a blender or food processor, blend the berries until smooth.
Add strawberries and buttermilk to the sugar mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour into a freezer-safe container. Freeze overnight.
Remove from the freezer 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Wayne on the bags! 5:30am!

Don't mind my voice, just pay attention to the man behind the gloves, Wayne! Wayne is quiet. He comes in and does the work. This is the first time doing a work out program like ours. At first he was hesitant to come in and see the place, but he came in AND took a class and fell in love.

Wayne doesn't make any excuses. He's got painful arthritis, but it truly doesn't stop him. When we say smash, he HULK SMASHES and we love it. Look at that CROSS!

Wayne isn't on Social media, but I'd like to say I'm so proud of him for getting the courage to walk in the door, let alone try a class. That can often be intimidating...the unexpected, but it didn't and hasn't stopped him! Wayne, You're a staple in the early am class. We're proud of you!

Hey everyone, meet Briana! She became a member on April 2022 when she joined her first ever 10 Week Challenge. She felt like she needed an extra push and motivation to workout. Knowing one of the members already she decided to give it a try. After taking her first kickboxing class Briana signed up for her first challenge. She comes to class consistently and works hard everyday, sometimes even doubling up for classes!. Since joining she has learned new workout skills, new and healthier eating habits, she has gained personal strength and stamina. One of her victories since her journey started has been letting go of the bad eating habits, she now craves healthier food. She even started meal prepping her meals for the week. She adds healthy snacks to eat throughut her days at work.

“I love that everyone from members to coaches are so positive and encouraging at the gym. You never feel intimidated or incapable of reaching personal goals. I love the classes and how they are always different, it keeps me going and motivates me to push harder” - Briana.

Enjoy your Saturday with this delicious Mediterranean Chicken Wrap from the :

1 boneless, skinless chicken breast

1/4 cup non-fat shredded cheese

1 whole-wheat wrap (8-inch)

1 medium tomato, chopped

1/3 cup spinach, chopped

2 tbsp hummus

Grill chicken. Top chicken with cheese while grilling to melt it.

Slice chicken into strips.

Pile chicken, cheese, tomato, and spinach into a wrap on a plate. Spread hummus on one side, then roll wrap.

Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping is a results-based fitness program for participants of any age, lifestyle, s*x, or athletic ability.
