September Women’s Self-Defense Seminar

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October), we hosted an empowering women’s self-defense seminar in September. Thank you to all the incredible women who came out to train, connect, and support one another.

This past weekend, we had the honor of welcoming the Class of 2027 to our academy for a Women’s Self-Defense Seminar!

We are grateful for this amazing group of young women who came ready to learn, engage, and support one another on the mats. It was inspiring to see the teamwork, focus, and energy they brought as we worked through key self-defense techniques, along with the important do’s and don’ts of staying safe.

The mats are alive with energy as our students get ready for this week’s Defense Combine! From drills to scenarios, they’re learning how to be more aware, more prepared, and more confident every single day.

We’re proud of the effort and focus our Tiger-Rock family is showing, you can already see the growth happening with each practice.

This program is only offered twice a year nationwide, and it’s one of the most impactful training events we host. Watching our students step up, challenge themselves, and grow more confident each class is what Tiger-Rock is all about. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it! Testing Week is here! August 12th-16th there will be no lessons Tuesday through Saturday as we cheer on our students. Good luck to everyone testing, you’ve worked hard for this moment! Classes will resume Monday, August 18th.

Camp of Champions last week was exactly what our students needed, high energy ⚡, focused training 🥋, and a whole lot of heart ❤️. From sparring rounds 🥊 to team challenges 💪, we saw real growth and grit from every student who showed up.

Now it’s time to take that momentum to the National Tournament. Team The Woodlands is ready to compete, ready to represent, and most importantly, ready to rise to the challenge🔥.

We’re proud of how far they’ve come, and even more excited for what’s ahead. Let’s go show them what champions are made of 💯
