In 2007 I was faced with some pretty important decisions.
1.Which University was I going to transfer to?
2. What was I going to major in?
3.What makes me happy? The first couple seemed like no brainers but I couldn't really figure out what truly made me happy. I had great friends, great family and did ok in school. Late nights and partying with friends led me to a lot a late night drive thru dinn

I have had to make some extreme changes due to this sh*t down but I’ll be damn if that sets me back from what the ultimate goal is.
The past couple weeks have been a real challenge and I will have to adapt and overcome just like everyone else.
I just want to take some time to thank the people who have allowed me to help them along their fitness goals! I truly appreciate each and every one of y’all.

You don’t have to be the same person you were 12 months ago...or 12 years ago.
It is a known fact that if you are not getting better , you are getting worse.
There is no such thing as being the same.
Your habits will either serve who you want to be or push you to be even worse than you are now.
I am no where near where I want to be. To be honest I feel like lately I have been getting worse but seeing these old pics remind me of where I am never going back.
Choose to get better.
Act as if you are the person you want to be.
Ask if what you are doing today is getting you closer to that...
If the answer is yes then keep doing it!
If the answer is no...cut that sh*t out and get your focus back!
No one is coming to save you!

Ok so this is a throwback 2016 but what is funny about this video is that I was still getting a negative opinion from some of the people close to me.
They said I looked too skinny.
I literally lost 💯 pounds and felt fantastic!
I also did it naturally without any crazy crash diets!
They said I needed a burger 🍔 (I had plenty )
These were people that “loved me” ,
that were on my side.
Sometimes the people that are closest to us and think they are trying to protect us...do the most damage.
This works with people that are extremely overweight like I was as well.
They will say “love yourself the way you are”
The only problem with that ...what if you truly want to change but now if you do, you think they won’t like it or you will lose them.
The truth is...transformation is hard.
Staying with the same sh*tty habits that are killing you is hard...
It may seem like the easy thing to do in the moment but it’s only making that mountain you have to climb that much harder.
Take my advice...
Start now...
Do anything to get the ball rolling!
You don’t have to conquer Rome in a day.
Find a bigger reason to dig deep for.
Fail...
Fail...
And fail again.
But don’t you ever give up on yourself!
Don’t worry about what others will say.
This is your life and not theirs!
Now go!

This is probably the leanest I have ever been since I was 300 pounds.
This phot was taken a few days before the branch warren physique show I did in 2016.
I weighed about 195-200 pounds and I felt incredible! I never in my life thought I would ever look like this.
I am not putting this picture up to brag because I don’t look like this now. I am doing this to show you that there is hope even if you have over 100 pounds to lose!
I never thought I would lose the weight...
I would tell myself that I am just the fat guy...
I don’t regret letting myself go bc if I didn’t I would not have the awesome personality I have now 😂 but seriously it did teach me a lot of lessons.
One of the most important being that if I didn’t control what I ate and drank my lifestyle was going to lead me to an early grave. We never know how much time we will have on this earth 🌎 so we might as well take advantage of the blessings that we have to see what the body is capable of!
I don’t ever want to take my health for granted again.
I hope this message reaches the right people!
