🎀🏉 OCTOBER IS CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🏉🎀

This October, Grizzly Rugby is going PINK to show our support for those whose lives have been touched by cancer. 💗

At our Pink Out Practice, we’re asking every Grizzly to wear something pink and play in honor of someone who is fighting cancer, celebrating survivorship, or whose memory we carry with us.

💗 Wear their name on your wrist.
💗 Wear pink in their honor.
💗 Take the field for something bigger than rugby.

Together, we stand with the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support the families and friends who fight alongside them.

Because Grizzlies stick together. 🐻💪

Grizzly Rugby is excited to host Panther Rugby Academy for their Texas ID Camp right here at York Junior High!

📅 Saturday, November 7th
⏰ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 York Junior High
🏉 Boys & Girls | U12–U18
💰 $75

Players will participate in USA Rugby fitness testing, skill sessions, and Rugby 7s strategy. The event will be recorded, and scores will be added to each player’s Panther Rugby profile/database.

This is an awesome opportunity for our athletes to get exposure, test themselves, and learn from Panther Rugby without having to travel to another city or state. And we get to host them right in our own backyard! 💙🧡

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this season a success! Whether you love planning events, fundraising, organizing, or lending a hand on game day, we have a place for you.

Open board positions:
• VP of Fundraising
• Hospitality
• Special Events / Projects
• Secretary
• Director of Competition, Youth

Board service is a one-year commitment, and you must have a child playing for Grizzly Rugby to serve.

Every family is required to complete 15 volunteer credits per season. Serving on the board or as a team mom fulfills your family’s entire requirement!

🐻🏉 WELCOME TO GRIZZLY RUGBY, CASH MARKLE! 🏉🐻

Cash comes to the club with an impressive 6 years of rugby experience, bringing plenty of time on the pitch and a strong understanding of the game. With experience at both winger and fullback, he adds versatility to the backline and knows what it takes to contribute on both sides of the ball.

Whether he’s using his speed out wide, tracking down a break, covering the backfield, or stepping up when his team needs him, Cash is ready to bring his experience and energy to the Grizzlies.

Six years in the game have helped shape him into the player he is today, and we’re excited to see him take the next step in his rugby journey wearing the Grizzly colors.
