VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Will Farley serves as the game day coordinator at Springboro Baptist Church. Will has served in this role for many years. He does a little bit of everything on game days from pregame announcements to officiating games to devotions and so much more. Thank you Will for your service to Upward. If you play at SBC and have questions, look for Will.

Travis Siders is the game day director at Crossview Christian Church. Travis does a little bit of everything at CCC. Thank you Travis for your service to Upward. If you’re playing at Crossview and have questions look for Travis.

Volunteer Spotlight: As we tip off games this week, we want to highlight our game day site directors at the various locations. Don Vulgamore (left) and Zach Cameron (right) serve as game day directors at Waynesville Community Church. They wear many different hats on game days. Thank you Don and Zach for your service to Upward. If you’re playing at WCC and have questions look for Don or Zach.

Practices are rolling again and teams are working on this virtue and verse. This Saturday referees will ask kids this verse. The team that can tell the referee the verse will get the ball first.

The first week of practice is well underway with the final practices of the week tonight. Beyond what's happening on the basketball court or in the cheerleading rooms, connections are being made through hot chocolate, coffee, and games.

Our practice devotion this week focuses on excellence. Players and cheerleaders are encouraged to memorize this verse. As games begin players will be asked to say the verse during the pregame huddle. The team that can say the verse will get the ball first.

There are also parent companions to go with each week's devotion. This helps parents talk with their children about what they are learning during practice devotion time. Check your email for your parent companion on your practice night each week.

Volunteer Spotlight: As we tip off practices this week, we want to highlight our practice site directors at the various locations. Zach Cameron has served in many capacities with Upward. Zach serves as practice site coordinator at Waynesville Community Church. He can also been seen on game days in many different places. Thank you for your service to Upward! If you’re at WCC and have questions look for Zach or Don Vulgamore who will be featured Thursday.

Volunteer spotlight: As we tip off practices this week, we want to highlight our practice site directors at the various locations. Pam Handy and Colleen Cox serve as practice site directors at Springboro Baptist Church. Pam has been helping out with Upward for 3 years working in the concession stand, assisting with our end of season celebration, and serving hot chocolate and coffee at practices. Colleen serves as the league director. She has also coached and officiated. Thank you for your service to Upward! If you have any questions while at SBC on practice nights, find one of these two ladies and they will help you out.
