Today letβs talk about LIFT and reach.
Why isnβt it just reaching out?
When you focus on coming out of your start at an angle UP and out it will help allow your arm time to get into the slot needed by the time your foot hits the ground.
Reaching alone is good, but adding the lift also adds extra momentum for your whip once you come down and resist. Everything has to work together; one thing at a time.

Things to note:
- toe is down
- glove arm and stride leg are working together
- back knee is turned in
- arm has a slight bend
