Congratulations to Big Bray Finch on hitting his FIRST true Home Run this weekend! Bray launched a 3-1 Fastball over the Right Centerfield fence for a 3-Run Home Run against Patriots Navy on Saturday!

Congrats, Bray! I’m betting that was the first of many in the coming years!

Congratulations to the 10u Iron Pigs Red for winning their first bracket championship in their second tournament of the Spring!

The boys were there to play today; solid pitching, clutch hitting, and some big defensive plays helped them go 2-0 in their bracket, winning their first championship ring!

Weekend Highlights include:
- massive home runs by BOTH Blayze Johnson and Bray Finch
- Jace Munoz throwing out runners trying to steal 3rd Base on back-to-back pitches, squashing a potential rally in the championship game
- Hudson Lawson tallying a save and then a win in consecutive games on Championship Sunday
- Bray Finch coming in clutch as a reliever all weekend, totaling 4 innings with 5 strikeouts and allowing zero earned runs
- Ben Eikenberry fielding a hard hit ball and, with zero hesitation, throwing out a runner at 1st Base from Right Field

Way to go, boys! It’s going to be an exciting season for Iron Pigs baseball!
